ASWA members in Zimbabwe –Space For Marginalised Groups In Diversity In Zimbabwe Trust (SDGZT) had sex workers who are living positively from nine HIV Support Groups converge and celebrate the triumphs of savings groups in Zimbabwe.
They shared kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, cups, and also Christmas groceries.The support groups which shared their savings are Rusununguko, Kosekuchema,Batanai, Sekutamba sekuseka, hatisikumira,Tichakunda, Kuedza,ART Group, and Kutsunga.
SDGZT Executive director Chipiwa Mugabe when handing over the shared goods urged sex workers to continue living positively and to continue with the project which empowers sex workers economically.
They were also encouraged to get TB screening and treatment.
